宇治～瀬田川洗堰Uji/Seta River

滋賀の実家に帰るついでに世界遺産を見学。

車も買ったので宇治から下道を通って宇治川沿いに琵琶湖まで上るちょっとした旅

毎日十円玉で見てる平等院があったので小学校の遠足以来入ってみます。


I visited the World Heritage site while going hometown.


I rise Uji River to Lake Biwa for a short trip through downtown along Lake Biwa with my new car Pajero/Montero.

I tried entering Byodoin wince the elementary school trip, which I look at 10 yen coin every day.

平成に修理があったようで小学校の頃に行ったときに比べると池の形や阿弥陀如来坐像も新しくなってました。
しかしそれにしても日本の国宝は美しい。
横の博物館には間近に国宝がたくさん見ることができる。

アンコールワットの石仏も美しかったが平等院の木でできた雲中供養菩薩像も美しい。
こんなに近くにこんな素晴らしい物が見れるなんて灯台下暗しでした。


The repair was done in Heisei period.

Amida statue has become new and the shape of the pond has been changed than I went to school.

Japan's national treasures is beautiful.

We can see the national treasures in Musium.

Unchu Kuyo bosatsu is so beautiful like Angcor wat stone Budda.

これが洗堰
琵琶湖から流れ出る唯一の川です。
滋賀県は瀬田川、京都に入ると宇治川。大阪になると淀川と名前が変わります。
今は雪解け水が流れ込んでいるので水量が多い。

This is Weir of Lake Biwa.
Seta river is the only river flowing out of Lake Biwa.
The name of river changes its name depending on the location like Seta river in Shiga, Uji River in Kyoto, Yodo river in Osaka.

Now it is flowing the large with snowmelt water.

ちょっと上流には旧洗堰。
昔はここで泳げて瀬田川シジミがとれたらしい。
今の洗堰からは想像できません。

Old weir is there a bit upstream.
In the past we can take the Seta clam here by swimming.
We can not imagine from now.
